Box of Cards Fundraiser

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I enjoyed meeting everyone last week at our Meet the Teacher event. Also, She Shell informed me that she was extremely happy with the great number of people that offered to take care of her. I'm sure she will be happy not to come winter camping with me.

We started our TUSC (Totally Unbelievable Speaking Club) program in room 81 & 82. Please ask your child to explain what activity they have to speak in front of the class next week. Their speech will only be about 1 minute long.

During our investigation into "Children Around the World" we watched a couple of small videos about children in India taking a boat or traveling in the dark to school. We are excited to explore the various types of excursions that children take in order to get to school.

During math we are still in the process of exploring graphing and data analysis. We will be continuing this for the rest of the week and then we will be looking into various addition strategies. ******* PLEASE REMEMBER TO USE YOUR MATHLETICS AT HOME*********

Everyone that came to the Meet the Teacher event should have gone home with their card. If not, I will send home the card with your child tomorrow.

Also, students were sent home today with their Box of Cards Fundraiser supplies.
