Yesterday the students had a spelling test, with their spelling words, that they were given to two weeks ago. Your child should have brought these words home, in their blue folder, so they can continue to work on them with you. Today students were given their new words where we will work on them over the next couple of weeks.

Today we explored a new software for creating comics and character mapping with Pixton. Please have your child show you some of their new creations with this software. The link to this software is www.pixton.com Your child's passcode for Pixton, as well as Mathletics, Google Docs, and Scratch were all taped to their blue folder so they can explain to you some of their learning. Please have your child continue to work on Mathletics where they can practice their basic facts.

Over the last week students have been exploring an animal and investigating it's, habitat, foods it eats, fun facts, and adaptations. During this process they have created a Google Slide in order to showcase their work. Have your child show you their findings within Google Slides.

Lastly, tomorrow evening is Literacy Night where all of the teachers will show you and your child various games in which you can take home and work with your child.

Also, your child brought home their pictures today to give you.
